let me explain, shall i?
"Life Exaggerated" is a board game about how different people are treated in this world. Thats really the shortest way i can summarize it, but in a bigger and longer summary (i promise its interesting dont get bored so quickly) its about how this modern world works and how it manuevers around the way of some people. I tried my best to represent people in this world with my very short board game. I do hope people find this enjoyable and worth to read. "How did you think of this? what couldve possibly come to mind when making this game of yours?" Well stranger, i shall explain

Okay, so as i was saying about how i thought of this game, its simple. I stumbled across this site called the "SUFFRAGETTO" Which is a game that is about the suffragetes and how women had to fight for their own right to vote. And while fighting for their right to vote, along came protests. Women also trained and learned jiu jutsu to defend themselves. Moving on! The Suffragetto board game inspired me to make a board game of my own. For as long as i lived (not long) i have never thought about the 2 topics of the Suffragete and "Board games" in the same website, let alone sentence! so it inspired me to make something like it. My board game consists of 6 characters, The Mayor, The Activist, The Officer, The Teenager, The Doctor, and The Scientist. I didnt know whether to go with "highschool boy" or "teenager" for that character, and im not creative, i couldnt make up official names for my character, so their occupations are what their names in the game are. Does this mean i should name the highschool boy "Jobless"? Probably not, i dont want people thinking he lives on the street. He has a loving family i promise! Movin forward, these 6 character interact with 1 other person during the game. They interact using the cards that are hand made for them by yours truly for the duration of the game. More will be explained throughout the 'Rules' section of this site! So i hope this was a brief but fulfilling part of my explanation, lets move to the Rules now! Hopefully this entertains you as much as it entertained me while making it! :)

This game would take about 15-30 minutes. Its all about going backwards and forwards in the cards that you pull for your character.
other disclaimer i should add is that the cards in this game touch some serious topic in this world, but it also has random ones as well. Which you will see while you read. If you put some pieces together, i got a little lazy and couldnt think of any more compelling things to add. So beware of that as well.

Im having issues with the picture that has my legs and rest of the picture cropped OUT. so this will have to work for now. This is the board game, made out of Amazon cardboard box haha. You would need a regular dice for this, im using a dice from my pokemon monopoly game. you can use whatever one you want, as long as you have the numbers 1-6 on the dice.
your main objective in this game is to win no matter what. Unless you are playing the Doctor and the Scientist, they are a married couple and unravel a huge topic together in the game. You guys will mainly be in the same spot, somewhat. Here are the characters down below.
If you are wondering what holds up the little pieces of the characters, i used another piece of cardboard and cut them in the middle of the top and bottom, resulting with something that looks like this:
Though it isnt anything fancy, its what keeps them upright, and thats what matters! Moving on, Before the gme starts the oldest will start first, making the youngest go last. I know this isnt your ideal regular board game, but you must have 6 people to play, or you have have 2 people play 3 characters, so on and so forth. Once you choose your character, you must take their stack of cards that belongs to the character itself. I will list the cards of the players down below. if you may know, i made these with pokemon cards i dont use, i applied white paint on them!
"Your wife doesnt accept that you judge people for a 'certain' reason. She divorces you. Move back 1 step."
"You think the highschool boy is guilty of what he did. No explanation needed. (cough cough you are racist) move once the Mayor pulls a card similar to this" I butchered this one a bit because i didnt have the space to write it. might do this with others as well!
"Someone tries reporting you for your so called racism. You consult to the Mayor (Your old colleague) to inform people you are just protecting the city. Move forward 4."
You arrested a man for an "expired license" and didnt listen to his reasoning. Due to this, you reached the end of your quota. Move forward 2."
YOU WERE FIRED!! LMAO YOU RACIST PRICK!! move to the beginning of the game and stay there until someone wins."
"You buy a new toupee. Move forward 1."
"You win the election for Mayor. again. Move 10 steps forward, or if near the end, until you get to the end of the board. Activist moves back 5 steps"
"Instead of helping the homeless in the local area, you fund a block party for the wealthy! Move forward five steps."
"If seeing this card before the cure, you take full credit for it. Doctor and Scientist move back 3 steps, and you take 3 forward. If after, you only take 50% credit, move forward 2 steps and the Doctor and Scientist move forward 1 each."
Your old colleague (The Officer)brings in a highschool boy whos been causing commotion on a field trip. Choose option A or B. Option A-Arrest him for breaking rules in the city hall. Teenager moves back 3 and you and officer move forward 2. Option B- Here him out and find out why he did what he did. Teenager moves forward 5, you and the Officer move back 1.
"People finally agree that you have good morals and promises for being mayor. Move forward five steps and Mayor moves back one."
"Because you are a queer rights activist running for Mayor, people dont take you seriously. Move back three times."
"The final count for the votes come in. You lost. You were paid 300 million to keep quiet about the bot votes that The Mayor. Move back six steps."
"A homeless man ask for some money, you take him to get some food, new clothes, etc. Someone spots you and takes a video, and explodes on social media. Move forward 6 steps."
"You found the cure to cancer!! Tell the mayor! If you knew about it before you, move back 4 steps with the Doctor. If he didnt, move back 2 steps with the Doctor."
"You miscalculated a small minor mistake in a lab. It explodes and your lab turned blue. Including your hair. Move back 2."
"You hold a fun interactive science assembly at a middle school. Social media loves your idea and helped your social status! Move forward 2 steps."
"You go on an anniversary getaway with your husband. Though you loved the time spent with you and your husband, you are now behind on work. Move forward 1 step."
"You offended the Mayor by saying you wanted credit for your husband and yourself for finding cures. He decreases your pay hoping you would 'understand' Move back 2 steps."
"Your interns pass their final exams and officially become nurses. To thank you for taking them under your wing, you go drinking with them. You just felt really old and out of place. Move forward one"
"You helped your wife with finding the cure for cancer. Show this card to the Scientist, and if she has already shown the Mayor the cure, move forward one."
"It you and your wives anniversary, you spend the weekend together and have a great time. Move forward 2."
"You set up an illegal procedure for a patient and saved her life. Roll a dice, if the number is under 5, you dont get caught, move forward 3, if it was over 5, you were caught and you move back 4."
"There was an accident during a protest, you saved many lives. Move forward 2 steps."
"Though you apologized and tried explaining multiple times to the Officer, and paid for the stolen item from the gift shop, The cop still insisted punishment. Move backward 3 and Officer moves forward 1."
"Your friends from soccer want to hang out, though you have homework to catch up on, your counselor did say you needed more social interaction for a chance at a scholarship. Move forward 1."
"Your friends ask you to try on of your vapes, you decline and felt it was best to tell a trusted adult at school, you are now named' TattleTale' and secrectly bullied alot because of it. Move back 2."
"During a field trip to city hall your 'friends' insist you take something from the gift shop and they promise they will stop pestering you. In the process of stealing, an Officer catches you. Move backward 4 steps"
"Your mother makes your favorite meal, Lau Lau, before your soccer game, due to the homemade meal and full tummy, you win your game. Move forward 1."
Anndddd thats about it! just have these materials and you could also make your very own board game! quite simple, just takes alot of focus. Remember, you objective is to WIN. RAHHH!!
